Default Posting HH's in Chat

Not to sure where to post this, but I figured here was as good as any.

Alot of people like to post links to HH's in chat. That is great! I think it is an awesome way to get some feed back! Problem is that most of the hands posted are supposed "bad beats" when in reality are simply poorly played hands (especially pre-flop!)

If you do not want honest commentary on your posted hand, than please don't post them! I don't understand why people get so upset when a simple comment is made on a posted hand. If you didn't want a responce than why did you post the stupid thing?

All I'm saying is that if you post a hand in the chat, please be prepared for some commentary. I personally have quit commenting but that is going to change. I get sick to my stomache sometimes watching the way people play hands and post that they took a "bad beat"! If you don't want comments than please don't post in the chat.... especially if I am around. Nobody is ever going to get better if you keep making the same mistakes... so from now on I don't care about feelings... if it was poorly played I will point it out from my perspective (which isn't always right, but should give you something to think about).

Sorry to rant, but I just think we can make each other better by helping instead of becoming defensive about the hands we post.

If the above makes sense... cool! If it didn't... well thats my right

Good decisions always,
Dale

Default Re: Posting HH's in Chat

I feel that if a hand history is posted in chat than it is asking for advice or comments.
Just keep in mind that all members should remain respectful with their comments and if you can not handle advice, comments or maybe even a little criticism please do not post it in the chat box. We here in the community love to help each other better their game play in anyway we can.

Hand histories can also be posted in the strategy section of the forum for feedback or advice from members.
